Previously referred to as the ‘ML’, we’ve updated the name to help players better understand the tonal response and sound. The V63+ pickups offer a balance of tight lows, focused midrange and smooth top-end sparkle. V63+ pickups incorporate a modified staggered pole piece design to provide an even magnetic field needed to accommodate instruments with flatter neck radiuses and today’s string gauges.

The result of collaboration between John Suhr and rock guitarist extraordinaire Doug Aldrich, the Aldrich humbuckers are the ultimate high-output pickups for aggressive rock style of playing. The Aldrich bridge humbucker is now our highest output pickup but it oozes tone across its sound spectrum.

It’s big sounding yet focused and punchy in the mids and tight in the lows. You will never hear this pickup get flubby and undefined in the highest gain settings. The high-mids will cut through like the sharpest knife but the treble will be sweet and never grating on the ears. From chunky low-string metal riffing to screaming string bends in the high register, the Aldrich bridge humbucker covers them all while retaining the dynamics of your picking attack. The Doug Aldrich Neck humbucker is the perfect complement to the Aldrich bridge pickup. The Alnico II gives more of a warm top-end that perfectly blends with a high-gain, British sound. The result is high-notes have a body and openness, without too much top-end. Warmth, power, sweetness and clarity.

These pickups offer the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition and range in output from vintage to hot.
